Other Organizations in the 46th Ward Special Services Area (SSA#34): The SSA is not new in Chicago, but is new in the 46th Ward (began 2005). The Special Service Area (SSA) economic development funding tool has provided commercial districts the financial means to maintain clean, attractive and competitive districts above and beyond basic city services. SSAs are locally defined, sponsored and managed districts.
